I'm reviewing a type of product that lots of people like to use and that is body moisturiser. This one is really affordable too at Beauty Language it just goes for 5.90 Singapore dollars.
You should be able to find this in any personal care stores in Singapore. Note that, I could not find out where this product was made by checking the label...
On to the product itself... It's got attractive branding, and the white bottle in hints of green and the Vaseline logo really pulled me in to purchase it on an impulse. It certainly looks like a good product.
According to the bottle label, this body moisturiser calms dry itchy skin... which is a boon for me really and anyone else in air-conditioned environments. It comes with the patented Vaseline stratys 3 system for multi-layered moisturising. And, this Intensive rescue range comes with a fragrance free version, a hand repair cream and a deep moisture petroleum jelly cream... though I have not seen these in stores.
When I sniffed the lotion, it smelt, as it promised, lightly fragranced and pleasant akin to Body Shop's Moringa range. Sweet and flowery without being too overpowering. The cream goes on smoothly without any visible residue. Nonetheless, I like to ply moisturisers on thick, and it made me feel a wee bit icky... so I suggest that if you do buy this.. you go very easy on it! A very little bit will go a long way - as stated - it is an intensive rescue.
Overall, this product is great and absolutely value for money. It has great relaxing and soothing scent, just right to unwind to after a long hot shower in the evening. I'm not so sure it will calm really problematic dry/eczema struck skin... that might really need a more medical grade moisturiser - this does not appear to be of that kind.
