Apothecary Sniff Boxes

Today I review Apothecary's sniff boxes. I'm quite a fan of good scents and I really enjoy sniffing beautiful smelling beauty products.

Apothecary's got some range of sniff boxes and I will cover the Recovery, Focus and Sleep boxes. The Focus and Sleep boxes are conveniently bundled into a Jet Lag kit.

Recovery sniff box - Alas not my favorite. Quite a sickly sweet rose smell. I think the best rose smell I have had is the Crabtree & Evelyn Damask Rose Cleansing Balm. This one's got rose, marjoram, olibanum and black pepper. It's supposed to comfort you in times of sorrow and sadness but I think it made me feel worse. I recommend light gentle sniffs. Don't blast this into you.

Focus - citrusy and pleasing. I actually liked this. Not sure if it would help me Focus but it did perk me up a little like a nice Aha! This is a good scent. It contains Bergamot, Lemon and Cinnamon all very perceptible when you sniff this.

Sleep - this one's also pretty good. It's quite a pleasing lavender with some citrus notes. Lavender, camomile and neroli.

I think the main drawback of these scents are that they are really sweet. But that's up to you if your feeling a little girly this not be up your alley.

Ok for a fun trial it's not expensive so could be bought on a whim. Retails at Luxola Singapore.

Coast to Coast Lip Butters

Well I made a trip down to Lin's Australia in Singapore which stocks Coast to Coast from Australia. Now just to have you know Coast to Coast has some delectable unique scents and I do enjoy their products immensely- but there appears to be a signature Coast to Coast stable of scents for their products and they are immediately recognizable.

For today's post I am concentrating on the host of really excellent and totally moisturizing lip butters which Coast to Coast offers in Singapore.

I had bought the Desert Peach Lip Balm first upon recommendation by the really nice salesman. Upon using it when I got home, I was totally hooked. I just had to have the rest of all the lip butters offered by Coast to Coast.

Here's a review of each:
Desert Peach - liquidy and very soft, juicy and smells really fruity in a nice way

Shimmer - another liquidy and soft shimmer that went on really well. Not too glossy or shimmery, it was just right

Riberry / Macadamia / Mango - hard butter consistency you need to dig up a piece of the butter and smother it on your lips. Melts upon application. Luxurious feel upon application.

It was a marvelous experience and Coast to Coast does a lot of 50 percent off deals, so I got these at a real steal at just over 10 Singapore dollars each. Hurray!

If you have a look at these lip butters, they also contain a lot of beneficial ingredients like Vitamin E, Avocado oil, Organic olive oil and jojoba. A totally quality product. Highly recommended.
